Farm Shop

The Independent on Sunday rated Northfield Farm's web site in the 50 Best Food Websites which was designed by us. Following up from this success we are currently designing an improved online shop that will improve the shopping experience, and allow for a number of retailers to benefit from the service.

The Northfield Farm project also included a windows based customer order management system to integrate with their online store.

New Online Store for Farm Shops

The new online store will provide for even better integration with the customer order management system, and whether you are just looking for an online store or a complete system please contact us and we will be happy to discuss what we can offer further.

Key features of the new Farm Shop include

• Customers can enter a custom weight, e.g. 1.6kg of fore rib
• Credit card details captured and pre-authorised, but customer not billed until order has been prepared as final price may vary after weighing
• Secure checkout that can't be tampered with, i.e. a third party posting incorrect prices to the shopping cart, hoping you won't spot the change in price
• A virtual terminal to process credit card details online, e.g. for orders taken in store, potentially eliminating the need for your own PDQ machine
• CV2 Check
• PCI Accredited handling or Card Details, we don't save the details anywhere
• 3D secure - Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode are available for no extra cost, you can register for 3D Secure if you have a live merchant number for internet transactions

To use this service all you need is a merchant account with one of the following banks

• Bank of Scotland (HBoS)
